Do Lorikeets Have Facial Expressions?

  1. I recognise a buffet girl glare on the lorikeet on the bottom left. It certainly frightens me!

    1. The bottom left is from a larger photograph that shows this courting male trying to convince a female that he has the aggressive qualities that make him an ideal partner in a community based on bullying. The mean, confident glare was accompanied by the rapid wing flap gesture that is used to threaten immanent attack to a rival.
